French Coca-Cola Company subsidiary Varoise de Concentrés S.A. (Coca-Cola Midi) is currently Developing Production Line at its plant in Signes (Var department).

According to the company,the new Production Line is a 2 million euro aseptic conditioning line which is the last in a series of investments carried out at the site since 2004 totalling approximately 30 million euro.

The Signes plant mainly produces fruit juices (Minute Maid brand), which represent about 60% of the site's activity and 40% of its turnover. The other 40% of activity accounts for aromas and concentrates for Fanta, Sprite and Coke (60% of Signes' turnover).

The company's turnover fell in 2008 by 2.5% to 510 million euro due to the weak dollar, which penalised the company as 50% of its exports are billed in US currency.
